Jenni Scherer, Administrator at CareGivers of America for Broward and Palm Beach Counties, has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including more than 25 years in the home healthcare sector. She joined CareGivers of America shortly after moving to South Florida in 1998 and has held various roles with the company, including Intake and Patient Coordinator, Supervisor, and Administrator.
With a family background emphasizing service and compassion, Jenni naturally gravitated towards home healthcare. During her time with CareGivers of America, she has translated that into a prioritization of client needs, fostering a culture of warmth, acceptance, and unconditional positivity. As Administrator, Jenni possesses expertise in Long Term Care Insurance and products, community resource development, and ensures compliance with AHCA rules and regulations, adhering to the Private Care Association’s best practices.
Jenni cultivates a collaborative office environment at CareGivers of America, where professionalism, integrity, and kindness are paramount. Outside of work, she values time with family, friends, and her special cat.
Maria Martinez, Administrator, Miami-Dade County
Maria Jose Martinez has dedicated her career to elderly care. As CareGivers of America’s Administrator for Miami-Dade County, Maria brings a unique combination of Human Resources expertise and healthcare passion to her role. Maria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations (Human Resources Management) and has held a variety of roles, from HR Assistant to Administrator. Her empathetic approach and commitment to transparency set her apart as a leader in the home healthcare field.
Maria believes that compassion, patience, and reliability are essential qualities for healthcare professionals. She stays current with industry developments through ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues. Maria approaches patient care with the same respect and kindness she would offer to family and friends. Outside of the office, Maria enjoys baking, theater, documentaries, and quality time with loved ones.
