Flexible Payment Options for Personalized Home Care

At CareGivers of America, we believe that high-quality home care should be accessible and convenient. That’s why we offer flexible payment options to suit your financial needs.

We Offer Several Ways to Pay for Home Care

Private Pay

We accept all major credit cards and ACH transfers, as well as paper and electronic checks.

Long-Term Care Insurance

Stand-alone policies or benefits embedded in life insurance policies can help pay for home care.

Veterans’ or Retiree Benefits

Retirement benefits packages of teachers, first responders, or service members often include homecare.

Other Payor Programs

You may be able to pay through Medicaid, Claims Conference, or certain Medicare Advantage plans.

Flexible Payment Options for Personalized Home Care

At CareGivers of America, we strive to make high-quality home care accessible and convenient for families. Our Private Pay option allows clients to directly pay for services, offering flexibility and control over their home care needs without the limitations of insurance or government programs.

Private Pay

For over 30 years, we’ve been helping seniors in South Florida find the in-home help they need to maintain their independence.

We work with clients and their families to arrange a level of homecare that is both appropriate and affordable. Even moderate levels of care at home have been proven to be effective in improving quality of life and keeping seniors safer and healthier. Seniors who decline homecare earlier in their care journeys often end up at more expensive and less independent alternatives, such as nursing homes, later on.

Private payment for services can be made with a credit card kept on file, ACH authorization or with paper or electronic check. Our goal is to make care as seamless as possible for our clients and their families.

Long-Term Care Insurance

Long-term care insurance is a specialized financial product designed to cover the costs associated with extended care services, typically required in one’s later years. This form of insurance aims to provide financial support for individuals who may need assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, or for those with cognitive impairments who require supervision and care. Long-term care insurance policies can also extend coverage to services provided in a variety of settings, including in-home care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and adult day care centers.

Accepted Long-Term Care Insurance Providers

Veterans and Retiree Benefits

Honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces are eligible for in-home care benefits under the Aid & Attendance program offered by the Veterans’ Administration. This oft-overlooked VA benefit can help pay for the cost of an hourly home health aide.

Teachers and first responders may also qualify for homecare benefits as part of the retirement packages offered by their respective unions.

These home health benefits can often be used alongside a long-term care insurance policy or may have different eligibility requirements that allow them to be used earlier.

If your loved one is a military veteran, former teacher or retired first responder, they’ve dedicated their lives to taking care of us. Let us match them with a caregiver to take care of them.

Additional Payment Options

Certain Palm Beach seniors are eligible to have the cost of a home health aide covered under other benefits programs. These include:

  • Medicaid: CareGivers of America participates in Florida’s Sunshine Medicaid & Health Insurance plan. If your loved one is enrolled in Florida Community Care, we can connect you with an affiliate who participates in that program, as well.
  • Claims Conference: We partner with South Florida agencies who administer Claims Conference grants to refer compassionate and understanding homecare assistants to qualifying seniors.
  • Medicare Advantage: Certain Medicare Advantage plans include non-medical home health benefits. We can help you understand your plan’s benefits and whether we are considered in-network.

Unfortunately, Traditional Medicare does not pay for hourly or live-in private duty home aides or nursing assistants. Under a physician’s orders, Medicare does cover the complete cost of registered nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, home health aides for bath visits and medical social work. We can connect you with affiliates that provide these services paid for by Traditional Medicare.
