CareGivers of America is proud to be named an inaugural member of the CareScout Quality Network, a distinguished group of home care companies that uphold high standards for quality, client-centered care services.
In a statement launching the Quality Network, CareScout CEO Samir Shah pointed to the frustration families feel navigating a fragmented and confusing home health market. “Quality measures today only meet the lowest common denominator of patient safety, which is important, but provides zero insight into what care will best fit your individual needs,” he said. “We are redefining quality as person-centered care and are bringing together high-quality long-term care providers committed to this movement.”
Each member of the Quality Network has demonstrated a commitment to person-centered care through CareScout’s comprehensive credentialing and due diligence process. Providers are assessed against more than 20 criteria, including Net Promoter Scores (NPS), quality ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and CareScout’s Person-Centered Care metrics.
CareScout is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genworth Financial, a publicly traded insurance company. Genworth has been particularly active in the long-term care insurance market, and the formation of CareScout is intended to help policyholders and their families identify the highest-quality home care options available in their region.
Caregivers of America is one of only 6 independent home care companies in Florida to receive this recognition. Being named an inaugural member of CareScout’s Quality Network is a reflection of the local relationships we’ve built over the past 30 years we’ve been helping our friends and neighbors. We are proud to have partnered with physicians, community centers, and geriatric care managers in our geography since our founding, doing things the right way, every day.
