When you allow CareGivers of America to refer one of our caregivers to provide compassionate care for your elderly loved one, we hope this person becomes a trusted and valued part of your life. After all, our team of dedicated experts takes the time to assist you through the choosing process to find a caregiver who matches your exact needs. In many cases, clients meet with their caregiver ahead to determine for themselves if it’s a good fit.
Unfortunately, some circumstances may mean your caregiver needs time off and is unable to provide their services for a day or a short period of time.
So, what happens if your caregiver is unavailable or needs time off?
Backup Care When Your Caregiver is Unavailable
CareGivers of America is a licensed Nurse Registry in the state of Florida serving Miami, Aventura, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, Pembroke Pines, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs and the surrounding areas. Although we are extremely selective about who can join us, we do have a vast team of qualified caregivers. Our goal is to keep you paired with the caregiver or caregivers you know and are used to, but this may not always be possible when unforeseen circumstances arise. However, you can rest easy knowing that whoever comes to your home to assist your senior loved one will be well-versed in the quality of care you are accustomed to.
If for some reason your caregiver is unable to come to your home, we will let you know ahead of time. We also ensure the new caregiver we refer understands the individual circumstances of the person they will be caring for. This includes any health conditions they may have and the services they usually receive. If needed, your replacement caregiver can also provide live-in or overnight care.
